Reply Guy is "a better problem to have."
When we solve a problem with new technology, we end up with new higher order problems.
These new problems are almost always better problems to have. We have made progress. When we solve them though, we will have even more new problems.
New problems end if you aren't making progress, which is a state that wrongly some people prefer. They prefer to rest. They prefer "simpler times."
That state is stasis. It's a trap. It's death.
So embrace Reply Guy as we remove him, and remember that when he is gone, his removal will cause us new and even better problems.
